“Why popcorn?”—lots of people ask.

Growing up, my family loved movies. That meant a lot of trips to the theater where my Dad taught me the right way to make popcorn; fill the bag halfway, add butter and salt, shake, then fill it the rest of the way and repeat.

Mom always said I would be an entrepreneur. I founded Tee Jay’s Popcorn after developing a honey caramel popcorn that stands apart—naturally sweet, ultra crisp, properly salted, and perfectly buttery.

Popcorn has always been part of my story, and I’ve carried that appreciation forward. None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my family and friends.
